Friday night's 6th race at Rideau Carleton declared no contest. One horse went off stride going into the first turn causing a chain reaction of horses falling. No driver or horse was hurt. What could have been bet on that race anyway? Two or three grand?

Todays hot rumour: A well known trainer at Woodbine was fined a good chunk of dough for calling in the wrong horse on a workout. I checked the ORC site and I can't find a link that gives info on fines and suspensions for Ontario tracks. Is this information available to the general public, and if so, where is it? And if not, why not?

Just wanted to let you know that ruling is published in Wednesday nights Woodbine thoroughbred program.
Thanks. Still, shouldn't these rulings be available at the Woodbine site, or at the ORC site?
And if someone got caught putting in the wrong horse for a workout, one has to wonder how many trainers get away with working out horses that are the wrong horse.
When a drug dealer gets caught bringing drugs over the border, you know that many got away with it.
Maybe a lifetime ban would deter this action in the future. It isn't fair to the public.
how can you trust betting any of the Jody Hammett horses now after knowing that he has cheated....when your playing a first time starter of his you will need to question the works or any works for his horses.....im not playing any Hammett horses anymore...cheaters should be punished with more than a $5,000 fine.
