The Italian government have announced that they are set to block 684 gambling websites by Friday in an attempt to stop the fraudulent acquisition of passwords and credit card information.
Only websites licensed in Italy will not be affected. Those Italian ISPs who do not comply will be fined heavily.
Companies like Betfair are considering legal action to fight this.
